What are wall stickers and what are they made of?

CUT IT OUT wall stickers are made from a very thin matt vinyl product. This gives them the appearance of a stylish, hand-painted mural. Our matt vinyl is thin and strong, making it difficult for even the most determined little fingers to pick at.

Do wall stickers stick to all wall surfaces?

Providing your wall is smooth, flat and correctly prepared they will stick to your wall. They are best stuck to plaster walls, glass windows, mirrors, tiles etc. If walls are too rough, such as textured walls, then the sticker may not stay applied.

I've just painted my wall. Can I stick my wall decal on straight away?

If you've just decorated, you should wait at least 4 weeks before you apply your wall sticker. This will ensure your paint is totally dry so you can get the best possible results. However, all paint is different, so this is only a guide.

Can I take my wall sticker down and use it somewhere else?

Wall stickers are not reusable. We've designed our decals to be hard-wearing, so we use a high quality adhesive. Whilst the adhesive keeps your sticker firmly in place, it is also simple to remove your sticker when you’re ready for a change. Removing a sticker can cause it to stretch out of shape, meaning it won’t be suitable for reuse.

Are the wall stickers supplied in one piece?

Most of our wall stickers come in just one piece. Some larger stickers may come in several pieces, to make fitting easier.

Are wall stickers easy to apply?

Yes. Achieving a perfect finish is easy.

Can I use wall stickers in my bathroom?

We do not recommended applying in your bathroom as the hot steam will affect the adhesive on the sticker.

How do I remove wall stickers?

The most important aspect to removing the sticker is to remove them very slowly and gently. A hair-dryer on a very low setting can help soften the adhesive of a more stubborn decal and assist with removal.
